In the Forum can be seen the arches of the Basilica started by Maxentius and remodelled and finished by Costantine, often known erroneously in previous centuries as the temple of Peace. Also visible to the top right are the twin domes and campanile of S. Maria Maggiore, to the left of that is the tower of S. Francesco di Paola, to the left of that is part of the church and the ex-Collegio dei Minimi to its right.
The drawing was glued on a cardboard, originally numbered 3.20, and kept in a portfolio. Title from note on the original cardboard. Forms part of: Library Collection. Drawings.
